BACKGROUND
CHS Developments, formed in 1997, is a broad-based black economic empowered infrastructure development organization that provides a complete infrastructure solution, which includes the development planning and design, improvement, construction, implementation and project management, sales administration, community facilitation, training and project liaison facilitation.
CHS Developments was formed through the collaboration of expertise in various disciplines of project management and infrastructure development, coupled with marketing and negotiating experience, positioning our team in pole position in thoroughly understanding Government policies, procedure and systems.
This knowledge combined with the appropriate commercial software and systems created by CHS Developments facilitate the best possible service to our clients. Several in-house software packages to assist in the processing of data and evaluation infrastructure have been developed to ensure the smooth and effective running of all projects.
Our team’s different but complimentary industry experience ensures that we have the right skills for the overall control and management of each of the infrastructure development projects the company undertakes.
CHS Developments’ Team has accumulated extensive experience in initiating and running of projects, from the conceptual stage through the co-ordination of the professional teams, management of the construction process and handover of completed projects to the beneficiaries.
We have to date successfully project-managed and implemented a variety of projects, which has seen our company expanding to other provinces of South Africa and creating a number of job-opportunities for young professionals and general labourers in the industry, while rehabilitating the living environment of communities in which our projects are implemented.
Apart from the successful implementation of a number of notable projects, our organization has seen through the construction and overall management of approximately 24 000 low income houses.
